Pine Makeover!

A Makeover for January! Last year I spent enough time making over furniture for other lovely people but this time I got my hands on a piece of pine that I inherited from my new husband in his flat. When you see the before shot, you will understand why it needed a makeover so badly. So I bought a tin of Annie Sloan's Paris Grey paint and wax with some new handles from Tk Maxx and hey presto, a new wardrobe and a whole new look. In total it cost me £30 and in man hours was a pleasure to see it transformed. More pictures to follow to see this in full glory as we are now starting to re-decorate said room so it will look even more stylish! So I'm hoping this inspires you to paint that bit of pine that's been sitting in your home and update it to something fabulous. Remember with using chalk paint you don't need to sand anything just make sure you wipe down your piece to make sure no dust or dirt on it before starting. Go on, paint that Pine!   Cx
