Entertaining?

Come Christmas, and into new year everyone visits family and friends, hosts a party, goes to a party, or to someone's for dinner. Here in Scotland, we go first footing at New Year. You can only 'first foot' someone after midnight at Hogmanay, and tradition states if you are a woman - it's lucky to be first footed by a tall, dark, handsome man. (and by first footing, I mean a kiss on the cheek to wish you well for the new year coming) So, if you are planning to host a New Year party - have you thought how your bar is going to look? Have you always wanted a bar? well, if it's a small gathering, then a bar cart is a great way to show off your style to guests, but also to show off your well stocked little bar. I LOVE a bar cart, and have my eye on a couple for my new place, but in the meantime, I've found a few online to buy. I actually prefer the cheapest one from Argos, as it has the most potential to customise it. Just imagine - it spray painted a gorgeous fusia pink, or if you are more classic in your style, you could just spray the handles a metallic gold. You could go further and change the wheels to castors, but it's still a great wee buy at £16.99! Colour sprays are found at your local art stores, nowadays every colour is available so with some ideas you could really transform this! Anyways - as you know I love a good bargain, and also love a good dream of 'if I had money' - so the other two I chose are this case! All you have to worry about is what kind of drinks to style on the trolley and show off those glasses in the cupboard that only come out for best! What better than bringing in a new year with loved ones? Mine is a gin and tonic please!
