Carla Jones Design
My life and business are greatly influenced by Interior design, seasonal trends, styling, fashion, architecture and photography.
My Glasgow School of Art background helped create my first step into design and built my successful stationery business, which at it's height in 2010, stocked to over 50 high end boutiques in the UK and Australia with my quirky, design led cards. This naturally lead on to exclusive collaboration design work with brands such as global tea company BrewHaHa Tea and exclusive UK jewellers Dower & Hall.
The progression to Interior Design was a very natural one. Drawing influence from my past visual merchandising background while living in London, my passion for collectables and vintage, and having worked with many high-end clients for projects, it was an opportunity I could not miss to return back to my studies. Having since graduated in 2014 in Interior Design, I started my new business and immediately started working within Store Design for clients such as Cath Kidston and for Home Interior projects for clients. I specialise in areas of Home Design, Interior Styling & Staging and Store Design, and have worked with some great clients such as Paisley2021 City of Culture Bid and Marks and Spencer most recently. In Home Interiors, last year I was involved in working for Channel 4's award winning show, 'Gok Wan's Fill your house for free' where I designed and styled 5 homes for families, which was a fantastic journey and experience. As a designer, it's very exciting to be and have worked on many different projects, and I'm very excited to see what comes next!
